Graduation of Blue Belles Batch 2013

This day was one for the books. For 12 years, MC has been my second home, and graduation day marked the end of that. Beyond grateful I was given the chance to grow up there, meet people and have experiences that turned me to the person I am now.

I’m definitely going to miss the familiarity of it all - waking up at 5:50 am to beat Katipunan traffic, being greeted by our ate guards in the morning, walking through the hallways filled with noisy teenage girls, spending the entire day in the classroom, sitting on the sports com floor for recess and lunch, enjoying our beautiful campus - everything.

Wherever we are, wherever we’ll be, faithful we’ll always be to thee. :)Thank you, Miriam College! And congratulations to us, Blue Belles of 2013. The best batch anyone could ever ask for. ♥

The usual clingy photo with Andrea! I’m hoping we’ll be school mates again soon. I’ll still be ready to listen to your kwentos no matter what!

#selfie hahaha

I owe it to this class for giving me such a wonderful senior year. I always enjoy our crazy dance parties and random singing! Thank you, IV-10. :)

Endured three weeks of torturous practice thanks to Aly and Monina, my crazy seatmates!

Very much blessed my parents brought me to such a great school, and were very supportive through everything.

Dr. Fermin, you da coolest principal.

Ms. Roman!! Working for the fair sponsorship for 3 years with her as our advisor will be one of the things I’m going to miss the most.

Graduation dinner at Heat! We didn’t get a reservation and the house was full, but thankfully we were still accommodated. Good, good food.

First college day high in 6 photos:
1. Mama brought me to school!
2. Taft life with all the traffic and walking. Slowly getting the hang of it! Well, maybe the walking… The traffic?? Not so much. Maybe never.
3. First adventure of the day involved going up 7 floors of Andrew through the stairs. Hahahaggard! Early morning exercise all thanks to the long elevator lines and my blockmates. It was fun though!
4. Our whole block reunited at Archers and blocking passageways. Yup, froshie problems.
5. Lunch with my loves Patty and Angge at Big Daddy’s!
6. Found our new hangout at the Henry lobby with my girl blockmates before heading home.

Incredibly chill day. Accounting in the morning, went around with some blockmates during our 3 and a half hour break, then we were dismissed an hour early from Fitwell. YEAH.

Summer 2013, it’s been really great.

I couldn’t ask for a better “summer after high school”! I’m thankful it went beyond my expectations. Short lived, but definitely one for the books!!! Epic.

Hello college. I don’t know what to feel, honestly. Like diving off a cliff? The thought of it excites me, but scares me to death, too. Jumping into the great unknown. No more of the familiar things I’ve grown with and gotten so used to. Back to being a newbie. Hoping for the best!!! Changing perspectives because I have a great feeling about this. :)

Our type of after-ball party! We decided to go to Mercato and pigged out, stopped by one of the streets in The Fort to take pictures. I pegged for Taylor Swift Fearless-like photos!

Graduation Ball ● March 16, 2013 ● MCHS Sports Complex

I think that night turned out better than we all expected. We doubted the idea of moving back the celebration to school grounds after 13 long years at first, but I’m sure proud we made the decision of doing so. Just one of Blue’s legacies! :) It was more meaningful celebrating it there where it all happened, and made me feel much more nostalgic.

The empty dessert table I came to… made me depressed. Haha!

Glad I found the best high school girls. ♥

Two of my loves performed that night! Proud of you, Aly & Jam!

This guy came to the rescue again! Thanks Rham!!!

My tablemates! Will forever love these girls.

My crazy fourth year buds. Anna! Anna! Anna! Ahhh, miss you already.

One of the night’s highlights was definitely photobombing these two! Heehee! Sorry not sorry!

Didn’t feel like the sportscom at all. This place holds way too many memories!

Left idle.

This blog has been abandoned for the past months. School kept me busy, especially with senior year and all the crazy things it threw at me. I told myself I would do more blogging this summer, but obviously I failed at that too lol.

I’m down to the last 6 days of my summer break. It’s been incredible - one of the best ones yet! Two months weren’t enough. It was full of great adventures, no doubt about that. But there are still lots of things I wish I had time to do - like driving, cooking, swimming and dance lessons, and travel to other places. Haha. I’ll barely feel the summer vibes in college, and after three years, I’ll be working. The thought of it makes me feel sick (and old).

Time to start posting photo dumps while I still can!

when staying in hotels in gylc do you like use the swimming pools and stuff there or is it basically like a dorm house ? Like can you wonder about alone or with a group ?

There actually isn’t time to go about the hotel because the day starts at 7 am (the latest) and ends at 10 pm everyday!

Hi! I have a question about GYLC. Where did you guys sleep in Washington and New York? Like which university (George Mason, American, Georgetown) ? I tried asking them but they're being so secretive. Thanks!

Sheraton National & St. John’s! I think it varies though haha you’re welcome :)

Oh , alright but do you get a whole day off and they transport you to the place or something or do you just go there by your self ? :D

There are a lot of activities allotted for each day, shopping time usually lasts for 2-4 hours a day (if you include lunch/dinner out haha)

You can check out the sample schedules on the website! It’s kind of the same thing. :)
